Dump truck tips, catches fire near San Vicente Dam

LAKESIDE — A large dump truck heading up a dirt road near the San Vicente Dam tipped over and caught fire Thursday authorities said.
The truck was heading up Moreno Avenue near the dam when it rolled over shortly before 11:30 a.m.officials with the California Highway Patrol said.
The fire was quickly put out. Male nurses were dispatched although it is not very clear if no matter who were wounded in the accident. No one has been transported yet a Heartland dispatcher said.

LAKESIDE - a motorist was killed when it has opera hat in a palm tree and burst in flames in Lakeside Thursday evening out of the authorities said.

The wife of National City Mayor Ron Morrison has filed for legal separation alleging her husband of nearly 35 years has a “history of domestic abuse.”
Morrison was served with court papers before the start of a City Council meeting Tuesday night. Once reached for the comment yesterday Ron Morrison vigorously denied any history of violence.
